Oops I wrote a comment and inadvertently hid it. I loved this one Joan~ an inside look, emphasis on listening to one’s inner voice, and making pain into beauty that lives on.

This is so good! I loved the first chapter. I could feel Jo's pain and loss, after the excitement of awaiting Theo's homecoming. Can't wait to read the rest!!

Fascinating. In May, we visited the sanatorium in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence where Vincent stayed. Lovely and sad, especially his tiny room and the view down into the courtyard.

Yes, the landscape itself is pretty but sad to think of him needing to recuperate there for a year. So glad you're a Vincent van Gogh fan too :)

Thank you LIsa! Still haven't gotten to Unpunished yet bc the Olympics are gobbling up my normal streaming time, but it's on my list :)

Love your stories of travel and research! Vincent’s story is gut-wrenchingly sad. I hope that his spirit is able to take in the magnificence of what he offered the world.
