I love how you laid out Jo's abilities - she was clearly brilliant and an inspiration. I am grateful to learn more about her and what she did. Often times things don't just happen, they are a combination of lots of hard work and vision combined with persistence and opportunity. I can't wait to get your book so I can learn more!

I love this: Hard work + vision + persistence + opportunity. (Sometimes I wish it was easier lol!) Thank you Mary!

Brava, Joan, for your incredibly compelling "teaser" for your novel about Jo van Gogh. I recall reading about her years ago and marveling at yet another woman whom history has nearly (but not quite!) left on the dust heap. I'm looking forward to your version of her story!

Ah, the dust heap! We need to Hoover up and reveal more of these female crusaders! Thank you, Amy

As another woman involved in a large project (although not selling hundreds of my brother-in-law's paintings!) I DO think the universe prepares us for the tasks we're meant to undertake. The preparation may be many years, but not a one of them is wasted. All bring us to where we are now and to the "job-at-hand." What a comfort! Also, thanks for the marketing advice, Joan!!!

You're an example of this universe serendipity, Candy.
