I am guilty of all of those hiding tendencies. I love that you called them out for your readers, a reminder to be vigilant against one's self. Perfect/perfection/perfectionism is the enemy of so many things!

Great piece! I'm afraid I'm the opposite. I probably moved on too quickly because I have so many other things I want to do. I'm hoping to catch all the final editing with friends in ARCs, but there is such a learning curve and it's mind-blowing we're gonna have a book published, right? Super AWESOME! Congratulations! It's an amazing accomplishment.

Lisa, YES - mind-blowing for sure! And I admire you for moving quickly. Things always seem to take longer than I plan. I don't know whether I'm underestimating or over-polishing. Your art director background no doubt helps you keep moving.
