I'd like to add Pat Barkers' "The Silence of the Girls" or "A Thousand Ships" by Natalie Haynes to your list. Both take on the Trojan war from the "other" side.
I love this backstory. The minute I started reading it I had an inkling of what the four words were. My, how deeply they are imprinted on the brains of those of us lived or who grew up in the era! She would be a great subject for a biofiction novel.
That festival sounds super cool. I need to find a film festival buddy.... the one I should have says he's done with theaters. Wah wah.... :/
WHAAAAT!!! Oh I am absolutely your buddy!
I can't wait to see the film. Thank you for reminding or telling us for the first time about this history. Learning this history is always important!
Great backstory on that ad. And honestly you made me google Sedona Film Festival. #vacationgoals
Oh I hope you do it! The vibe and energy level is so vibrant. I bet you'd love it! We are planning to come back next year.
Great story. We ARE worth it!

FANTASTIC. I love to hear about the other sides of history. Thanks!!
I love, love, love this story. And that film festival sounds like heaven on earth. Didn't know you were a film buff - so am I!
If only I could get to Chicago... let me toss that wish into the universe and see if we can enjoy a movie sometime. :)
Great ad story, Joan--I remember all those women you listed saying those famous words!
